This article discusses Cesar Chavez and his decision to not allow Mexican immigrants to migrate to the United States illegally. Although many who support the deportation of illegal immigrants would use Cesar Chavez’s claim as an excuse, sometimes they do not know of the purpose behind his support of this decision. In order for Cesar Chavez to have been able to promote his ideas in supporting the Mexican farm workers who were already in the United States, it was required that he take part in preventing illegal immigrants immigration to the United States from their home country so that he could bring attention to the poor working conditions made for workers who already resided in the United States I do feel that it is important to support those that have migrated from their home country illegally because their purpose for coming is no different than that of many of our ancestors who migrated here as well.
