Trump Jr. says the Democratic Party platform is similar to the Nazis'

Summary
This article portrays the issue in which Donald Trump Jr. states his personal belief that the way Democrats support the involvement of government in society is similar to that of Nazis, contrary to what would apparently be taught in history class, Donald Trump Jr felt it necessary to point out that the issues taught in the social sciences should be carefully reexamined due to the greater use of the liberal perspective. He also expresses that it is easier for the liberals to point out their perspective their side due to connections with the media. The article then finishes off with a tweet he made to point out the issue and make it appear as if when blame is placed on the Democrats that they deny comparisons and will not hold accountability for the likeness of the two groups.

Analysis
With the new movie "Death of a Nation" directed by  Dinesh D'Souza, out in theaters, it now seems as if there is an attack on Democrats due to the director's reference to a Nazi contract/ agreement and how it related to that of how Democrats prefer their society to be. This agreement entailed what Hilter thought would create his form of a utopian society. With Donald Trump Jr's tweets, it is infuriating to see that this man will state that what he saw in that movie should be directly considered a fact when there were more aspects involved in Hitler ideas on the genocide compared to someone who is a Democrat and how they wish to pursue their own ideas for the good of society .This is an issue that affects me and my decisions when electing for a representative in the future. whether or not I decide to move forward with being a supporter of the democratic party, there will still remain an issue in which society needs to understand that just because Adolf Hitler was a Democrat himself does not mean that future Democrats will follow in the same footsteps as him, i.e. genocide. Just because one may pertain to a certain belief does not mean that they will abuse that power the same as someone who did so before their time. It is not the political belief that is bad, it is how that side pursues its beliefs for a greater opportunity that will determine the good of society. This article relates to the course because of the influence of political ideas/ beliefs on what one party may try to put blame on another, vs. trying to put together facts/ resources and acknowledge the issue being brought up between the two parties.

Masterpiece Cakeshop owner sues Colorado governor, claiming religious 'persecution'

Summary In this article, it is mentioned that a cake shop owner named Jack Phillips stated that he was practicing his religious beliefs when turning down the opportunity to make a cake for a same-sex married couple. According to the artist, making the cake would have meant him going against his religious values by supporting the same-sex marriage . Although the cake artist seemed to have won the case with the supreme court, we see that there have been efforts made from the state of Colorado to try and help fight for the rights of the same-sex couple who requested the wedding cake. Questions are now raised as to whether the actions of the State are considered signs of bullying the baker's religious beliefs, or if this is to be considered the best plan of action in supporting the same-sex couple. The court continues with its proceedings. Analysis I see it as though being a Christian would mean that our faith has taught us that marriage happens by being with the opposite g...

Cesar Chavez's Complex History on Immigration/ Slate quiz

This article discusses Cesar Chavez and his decision to not allow Mexican immigrants to migrate to the United States illegally. Although many who support the deportation of illegal immigrants would use Cesar Chavez’s claim as an excuse, sometimes they do not know of the purpose behind his support of this decision. In order for Cesar Chavez to have been able to promote his ideas in supporting the Mexican farm workers who were already in the United States, it was required that he take part in preventing illegal immigrants immigration to the United States from their home country so that he could bring attention to the poor working conditions made for workers who already resided in the United States I do feel that it is important to support those that have migrated from their home country illegally because their purpose for coming is no different than that of many of our ancestors who migrated here as well. They recognize that being a citizen of this country would provide them with ma...
